Special Events: Etude Winery
While I personally believe that Oregon makes some of the world’s best Pinot Noirs, I do have one exception, and that is Etude Winery in Napa, California. The reason Etude makes such beautiful Pinot’s in a hotter region is due to their location in the Carneros Valley, which sits at the bottom of Napa/Sonoma Valleys. Carneros has the benefit of the cold breezes coming off the San Pablo Bay which lends to conditions that make their Pinot grapes, more expressive and reminiscent of their Oregon counterparts. Additionally, the Etude Winery staff are incredible and provide an amazing experience when visiting their tasting room. VIP treatment is the norm for all guests, and you always leave having tasted some of the finest wines in Napa.
